The EA NHL19 will be released soon, and the EA SPORTS already presented the top-50 players' overall ratings. It's not a surprise that Connor McDavid is the No.1 with the 94 overall rating, but there are also some controversial ratings.

- Carey Price - 92

Looks good in general, but don't you think Carey Price is a little bit overrated? Price is a good goalie, but his last season was really weak. And after that he's rated the 5th. Anyway, later we'll see more unclear goalie ratings.

There are controversies begin. Claude Giroux is rated 89 overall and he's the 24th, okay. Giroux finished the second in scoring last season with 102 points, and his rating can be better for sure.
Another question is the rating of Tuukka Rask, who is much higher than Vezina finalists Rinne and Vasilevskiy.

And here we have... The Vezina Trophy winner Pekka Rinne and a Vezina finalist Andrei Vasilevskiy rated both 88 overall at the 46th and 47th places. They have worse rating than Dubnyk and Quick (89 both) and placed 12 lines lower. A strange situation.
