The Buffalo Sabres defeated the Florida Panthers 3-2 in a shootout, Sabres goaltender Linus Ullmark took the win with 41 saves on 43 shots.
The Anaheim Ducks defeated the Columbus Blue Jackets 2-1, Ducks goaltender Ryan Miller earned the win with 26 saves on 27 shots.
The Carolina Hurricanes defeated the New York Islanders 5-2, Hurricanes goaltender Petr Mrazek took the win with 19 saves on 21 shots.
