The Detroit Red Wings defeated the Pittsburgh Penguins 3-2 in overtime, Red Wings goaltender Jonathan Bernier took the win with 32 saves on 34 shots.
The Colorado Avalanche defeated the Minnesota Wild 3-2 in a shootout, Avalanche goaltender Phillip Grubauer took the win with 21 saves on 23 shots.
The Winnipeg Jets defeated the Calgary Flames 4-1, Jets goaltender Laurent Brossoit took the win with 22 saves on 23 shots.
