Not until in a matter of a month, Indonesia will hold the Asian Games 2018. The city of Jakarta and Palembang, as well as the surrounding area, prepared to welcome the best athletes from all corners of the asian continent.
Year 2018 is the second time Indonesia is believed to host after previously successfully held the Asian Games 1962. Indonesia can be considered successful because at that time because it managed to appear as runner-up in the medal. Indonesian medal achievement at that time only lost to the Japanese general champion.
At the 1962 Asian Games, Indonesia successfully won 77 medals with details of 21 gold, 26 silver, and 30 bronze. The result turned out to be the best achievement of Indonesia during its participation since the first Asian Games in 1951 in New Delhi, India.
At the 18th Asian Games which will take place on 18 August - 2 September 2018, of course the people of Indonesia want to repeat similar achievements with the year 1962. Especially now the four-yearly event was re-held in Indonesia so as to enable supporters athletically support athletes directly .
Hopefully, the strong support that comes from the whole society can be a boost of enthusiasm for Indonesian athletes to achieve brilliant achievement.
