There is something unique in the Asian Games 2018 which takes place in Jakarta and Palembang. Indonesian Pencak Silat athlete who is a married couple won a gold medal.

Both athletes are named Iqbal Chandra Pratama and Sarah Tria Monita. They get gold in different categories.

Iqbal Candra Pratama won the gold medal before his wife. Compete at number 60kg-65kg son against Vietnam representative, Ngoc Toan Nguyen, Iqbal was able to win with a score of 4-1.

While his wife, Sarah Tria Monita, won over Nong Oy Vongphakdy who is a representative of Laos. Sarah won 5-0 at the women's 55kg-60kg number.

Iqbal Chandra Pratama and Sarah Tria Monita were married on 23 March 2018. Both turned out to have not had the chance to honeymoon because after marriage they had to attend the Asian Games 2018 training center.

To a number of media after winning gold, Iqbal said the aim was to marry Sarah to launch sustenance and was proven by the two who managed to get a gold medal.

Hopefully both of them will soon get children.
