The Indonesian bridge team prepared for the 2018 Asian Games will be the overall winner of the "Windy City Regional Championship" tournament held in Chicago, USA, 10-14 July 2018.
The reassurance of the overall champion was achieved after the mixed team contributed a gold medal on the last day of the tournament. In total Indonesia collected four gold, one silver and one bronze.
Previously, the other three gold donations were obtained from the men's team number, the super mixed team and the open pair. The silver medal presented by the men's team and bronze medal was won by Nunung Tri Yulianti/Nettin Erinda in the open pairing. This success completes the achievement of Team Bridge Indonesia while undergoing a series of trials abroad.
They previously also performed impressively by winning the overall title in two other championships, namely "36th International Bridge Festival Albena 2018" in Bulgaria on 19 June - 1 July 2018 and "Music City Summer Sectional Tournament" on 6-8 July 2018 in Nashville City , United States of America.
The Bridge Indonesia team during trials in Europe and the United States is experiencing rapid technical and non-technical progress.
The coaching of Polish coach Kristov Marten greatly influenced the technical performance progress of Indonesian team games. With a long try out in Europe and the United States this also gives confidence in the mastery of the situation of international matches.
