The Asian Games in Jakarta and Palembang will end September 2, 2018. Until this day 30 August, it has been going on for 13 days or minus three more days. To this day China, Japan and South Korea are still three medals. While Indonesia's host managed to rise one rank on the 9th day.

China as the league leaders got 112 gold, 76 silver and 53 bronze (total 241). Furthermore, Japan obtained 59 gold, 49 silver and 66 bronze (total 174). In third place South Korea gets 39 gold, 46 silver and 56 bronze (total 141).

While Indonesia's host is still firmly ranked 4th with 30 gold medals, 23 silver medals and 37 bronze medals (90 total). The number of Indonesian medals this year is the most of all time or breaking records. The highest number of medals before was in 1962 when it reached Jakarta with 21 gold, 26 silver and 30 won (total 77).
