Hosting SEA Games has been one of the biggest task that a country should looking forward into where they want to perfectly accommodate the players, representatives and other people that are included in such event. A big preparation was being implemented, starting from the structural commodities where sports will be held from as well as accommodation of all the delegates that they will be comfortable in their stay in the country. But still there are many set-backs that can't be avoided but still needs to be addressed by the hosting committee in order to lessen the possible negative feedback from people around the world.
In the Philippines, where the 30th SEA Games is being hosted. Many things didn't run smoothly where many complaints coming from delegates as some services are not delivered as expected. But still, it's just a small percentage of those incidents where I think it may happen to some hosting events which I think cannot be avoided. Something that you cannot pleased all the people with your services. As I can see, the Philippine's SEA committee do take full responsibilities on those complaints and will possibly provide more accommodating services to all.
What would I expect as a citizen of the hosting country is that people should be patient and be considerate on those downside that they have experience. They should approach to the focal persons that would provide the services and not just do a press conference that could represent a negative impact. Sometimes, I observe that some media do exaggerate things even it is just a small thing just to make a big impact towards their report.
