Record of medal gain in the 2018 Asian Games standings is currently still held by China. On this first day, China appeared as the best, they managed to collect 7 gold, 5 silver and 4 bronze. The acquisition is one third of the total gold medals contested today. As many as 21 gold medals are contested today from six sports. The six sports are fencing and shooting.
