If there is one major mistake that I can point out about the Steem community it would be their inability to utilize or even, comprehend the actual value of users such as myself. When someone comes around with a social media presence and a unequivocal resume of success in one of the most competitive and socially dominate industries... you'd figure that be the person to reach out to and help boost your platform into the mainstream.... but they didn't. 

I'm one of the "OG's" of steemit... I created my account and started blogging, 3 months in to it's existence. I used it as another resource to post my created content and build a foundation to fall back on whenever I'm not booking work as an actor. Here I am on Scorum, doing the same but this time I have experience in cryptocurrency and an understanding that there is a huge difference in the way audiences, fans and followers react and support us social media personalities. 

Not many of my acting and filmmaking friends are impressed with cryptocurrency and the instability doesn't help. As for me, I'm already balls deep and looking to further establish my name in this crypto game.
