The Australian media are getting pretty used to the copy and paste function on their laptops, as the Wallabies sunk once more at the hands of the All Blacks.

New Zealand retained the Bledisloe Cup in emphatic fashion with a 40-12 thrashing of Australia in Auckland on Saturday night, and it left the Aussie scribes with a similar storyline to type out.

Georgina Robinson (Sydney Morning Herald):

It is hard to believe that two weeks ago New Zealand coach Steve Hansen was justifying his selection of Beauden Barrett over Richie Mo'unga in the No 10 position. Barrett scored four tries and kicked five conversions to contribute no less than 30 points to the All Blacks' 28-point win over their old foes.

Tom Decent (Sydney Morning Herald):

The All Blacks are now undefeated in 42 consecutive tests at Eden Park, stretching back to 1994.

The Wallabies have a decent record under Cheika at neutral venues and they will be hoping like hell that continues when the teams next meet in Yokohama in October. Pride must be restored.

Jamie Pandaram (The Daily Telegraph):

The good news is that if you're a 16-year-old Australian you can drive a car on our roads. The bad news is you've never been alive to see Australia lift up the Bledisloe Cup.

The wretched All Blacks winning streak that began in 2003 continues for another year after the Kiwis blew Australia away 40-12 at Eden Park thanks to an extraordinary four-try performance from Beauden Barrett.

Pressure on Wallabies coach Michael Cheika is now searing, with the team suffering a bigger hammering than last week's humiliation in Sydney.

It just seems hopeless.
