With the first week of the 2020 Major League Rugby season finished, five teams are currently tied for the point lead heading into week two.

Cam Dolan of the New Orleans Gold led the week in scoring, putting up three tries in their 46-13 victory over Old Glory DC in DC's inaugural regular season match in the MLR. Gold teammate Moni Tongauhia added a pair of tries in the win as well. Other players to score multiple tries during the week included Kyle Sumsion of Rugby United New York, Beaudein Waaka of the New England Free Jacks, and Dean Muir of the San Diego Legion; all of whom added two tries.
