Scorum is a block-chain platform for sport lovers and whom like to earn from writing, commenting and voting for sports blogs.

Joining the platform is very easy. Just to review take a look at these steps

  1. Go to https://scorum.com/en-us/sign-up and start by choosing a username

2. in second step you have to enter your Email address.

3. After that you need to choose your country and put your phone number. In a minute scorum send you a verification code that you enter in the next page. Next step is going to your Email and check for verification link. 

 

4. In this step scorum gives you a long phrase of numbers and letters, mix with uppercase and lower case. As scorum tells you this is your key to everything in the platform. Write it down, keep it is a safe place.

5. When you enter the platform, scorum gives you a 5 SP (scorum power) as a welcome gift. SP is convertible to SCR and vice versa. SCR as I told you is a crypto money and can change to any crypto cryptocurrencies or any other fiat money. 

now you can write a blog, post a comment on other accounts and upvote them if you like. You will be paid for all this activities. you will be paid in SP.

As days go on you will find out if you have more SP you will be stronger in the platform. If you have more SP you have more effective VP (voting power). Ok! I need more SP. What should I do? 

First and obvious answer is working hard on the platform, write good posts and will be paid by the block-chain.

The second way is buying some SCR and change them to SP. How? 

The answer is using an exchange to sell BTC for example and buy SCR instead. If you check this page on coinmarketcap.com you will find the suitable exchanges.

Right now the only exchange available is openledger.io. First you have to register and make an account on this exchange. It is very easy and I let you do it yourself.

On https://openledger.io/market/SCR_BTC you can find out information about price and the way you can sell your BTC and buy SCR. Let's see what we can find on this page.

There are 7 main parts in this window I will explain one by one.

  1. Chart area. This is the place you can see history of price in the format of Japanese candlesticks. If you are familiar with technical trade you may use this part. If just a Scorum lover and want to power up your SP, move on!
  2. In this area you have to filter SCR and see the exchange rate ( and if selected, candlesticks chart on area 1 will be updated) of SCR against BTC and ETH ( the most two famous cryptocurrencies)
  3. In this section you choose the price and amount of SCR you want to buy. It is very clear that you have to transfer some BTC (if you want sell BTC buy SCR) before from deposit-withdraw section of openledger. Depositing BTC or any other cryptocurrencies is very easy. Just go to the page. filter the coin (BTC here). Click on deposite icon. A pop up page gives you an address of a BTC wallet you have to send BTc to it. (minimum amount of BTC you can transfer to openledger is now 0.0018 BTC) When the transfer is complete your account on openledger has some BTC now and you can put an order to buy SCR.

4. If you have already transfer your SCR from your wallet to openledger you can put a sell order here. ( Do not do it now! SCR price will goes to the moon ASAP!)

5.This is actually a most important part. This area will tell you the most recent price for exchanging BTC to SCR. For example at the moment of writing this blog the price is 5000 satoshi. It means the best price you should buy now is around 5000 satoshi for 1 SCR. you have not to expected to buy 1 SCR for example for 1000 or 2000 satoshi or you have not to buy too expensive at about  10K satoshi for 1 SCR at right now. Maybe in future 10K satoshi is too cheap, who knows!!!!

6. In area 6 and 7 you can find more specific information about sell and buy quotes in the market.

 

For example in the above screenshot you can see the best SCR seller price is 5500 satoshi and the best buyer price is 5000 satoshi. It is very clear that for happening a transaction sell price and buy price should be equal. If you want to buy SCR right away you have suggest 5500 satoshi for 1 SCR. If you want to be the first person in buy line you should enter at least 5001 satoshi for 1 SCR. Always pay attention to the amount of supply and demand in each price and in total market. For example here there are total 9606 SCR available to buy ( may vary in price for 1 SCR from 5000 satoshi to up) and 0.6 BTC like to buy SCR again in different prices. 

It is very clear that price will go UP if the demand is more than Supply and vice verse.

OK now I buy some SCR on openledger. How should I forward them to the platform. 

On scorum you have a wallet. When you go to your wallet you can see your balance of SCR and SP. In the wallet you can receive and send SCR and change SCR to SP and SP to SCR. remind that SP is only for the platform while SCR is a coin you can sell and buy on exchange.

On the right choose receive tab, copy your username and then go to openledger again. On deposit-withdraw page filter SCR and click on withdraw icon.

In this window you specify the amount of SCR you want to transfer and for "withdraw to address" you have to write your scorum username you selected in the beginning of registering at scorum.

While I made this post very great upgrade comes from the scorum team, and that is buying scorum by ETH  directly from your wallet.

If you look at your wallet a blue link appears newly.

When you choose it you will see a pop-up page, that you can see the maximum SCR you can buy and the exchange rate. This is the beautiful part of the story. SCR number is limited.

After that scorum gives you a ETH wallet address, that you should send ETH to that.

now the final step is easy. you have some SCR in your wallet. Go to convert tab and convert SCR to SP and be more powerful in the platform.
