Summary

My dream came true! I thought about this format for quite a long time. And I was ready to launch SPL on Steemit. But then Scorum launched! It is clear that this is exactly what is needed for such a competition.

Funny fact: I joined Scorum in August. But in the browser, an open tab with Scorum site prevented me from doing other things since June) I have no time to explore it.

37 participants from at least 13 countries took part in qualification. I expected about 20 participants so it was the first mini success. Вut not everyone reached the finish line. Someone did not have time, someone did not understand the essence of SPL...

30 participants competed in 3 divisions. In fact, 27 since 3 have not sent any predictions. It needed to predict the results of different sports events in each of the seven rounds. It was three football rounds and one round of basketball, hockey, American football and Formula-1.

@bartiemich from Belarus was leading from the first round and didn’t allow anyone to get ahead of him. So @bartiemich is our first Champion. Congratulations!

@pokal from Spain constantly was in top-3. Bad prediction from @cayelispor53 in round 5 and from @baker-news in 4th and 5th rounds allowed @pokal to take 2nd place.

@prates from Turkey always was close to top-3 but good predictions in the last three round helped him to get 3rd place.

@racso87 from Cuba and @andreas-infos from Ukraine leave Premier Division. Tie-break between @stanleyasokingz from Nigeria and @alex3503 from Ukraine will determine the last relegation participant.

@jsock from Spain was leading during the first five rounds. 6th round dropped him to 2nd place. But he guessed 100% games in 7th round and @jsock won First Division. Congrats!

Exactly @voiceoff from Italy was the best after 6th round but, as you know, he missed 1st place in the last round.

@grof from Serbia was in the top-3 for all rounds but only ranked third.

@jsock, @voiceoff and @grof move to Premier Division of SPL December.

@okn, @stiv2512 and @rachana relegate to Second Division.

Although there were only two players in Second division, the battle was serious!

@dexpartacus from Italy and @machupicchu from Turkey changed places very often. But in the end, successful predictions in the last round presented a victory to @dexpartacus. Greetings!

They will both participate in First Division next month.

1. Should we increase buy-in for Premier and First division? For example, 10 and 5, or 7 and 4, or your suggestions.
2. Should we increase or decrease the number of rounds?
