Scorum team's newest post has yet again raised more questions than answers as to what exactly will befall this platform and community...

One interesting take was from @battleaxe, a user who's never really provided a 100% subjective opinion on what's been happening here.. at least until now.

I'm always curious to see what the major investors think, as it's their baby and commodities being sacrificed. The $200 in Scorum I invested (by selling Steem btw) is a droplet compared to other users who invested tens of thousands in ETH because they saw a glowing product of a future for sports on the blockchain.

BattleAxe's comment on the new contest post has really triggered me as her points are incredibly valid and honestly inexcusable for the team to not address...

A recent post showing that the Scorum team in fact has no more ETH from the initial crowdsale funds is something that was expected, but unfortunate all the same.

The fact that the team doesn't address any of the communities wants or needs and continues to plod forward with other projects is seriously disheartening.

Obviously Scorum was intended to be something massive from the start, but the misplacement of funds and lack of reaching out or acceptance from the team just shows lack of class.

Questions to the Scorum Team:

Why exactly would I promote Scorum when you don't even change the earnings so many users have requested? (You want us to share our links but new users don't care because it looks spammy and inflated... the general public wants to earn with crypto)

Why was it mentioned that SCR will 'eventually' be accepted as opposed to being accepted immediately (into the new Sportsbook)? (This is a serious red flag as to what the token itself will become since the new book is a means to end in terms of income)

The team seems to have run out of crypto funding multiple projects (including the special ladies venture) and is now rebuilding a sportsbook to earn more ETH to eventually sponsor Scorum into something massive?

Maybe these passive aggressive community posts wouldn't be necessary if some changes were made and the team would actually reach out to us... It's almost like these contest posts are just to make us happy we're getting something.. when in reality we're getting nothing.

And no, I'm not owed anything by the Scorum team.. but I put a lot of time and energy into promoting this place and it's all been disappointment and frustration for the past year.

Although the Scorum team may be undermanned and underpaid, how do we even know what they are working on? The roadmap changes at their convenience and isn't even on schedule to begin with. We've received no new sports, no earnings changes... why would people blog here when they have Reddit and Medium which has intuitive functionality and a broad spectrum of topics including sports?

There shouldn't be such a dissociation from the community, Steemit has done well to merge the community and team so that updates and new projects are frequent and supported.

There is a complete disconnect from the community and the team yet it seems like we have to do all the promotion and get the word out ourselves...

If you skipped this read, please at least read this last part:

My frustrations are reasonable. I had hundreds of thousands of views with martial arts viewers asking me if Fantasy MMA existed on Scorum, or if the values of the earnings were real...

I had countless people saying they'd bet if combat sports were available...

I made numerous posts pleading for the inflated earnings to cease and for combat sports to be added...

I took 3 strikes on my channel and couldn't create videos because advertising Scorum is actually illegal in my state. If Scorum has some success and change, it would have all been worth it...

but now I don't really want to promote.

Yeah, I'll share my links on Twitter with a couple hundred followers, but imagine the progress if the tens of thousands of people who listen to my UFC picks were to come over.. consistently bet on fights and write about them. I appeal to the betting community and I begged the team to be more proactive with these changes so I could appease new users.... but alas, nothing.

They say that insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results..

We ain't staying if things ain't changing.
