My favorite team is the team I was playing in. Ok, I admit we wish we were Ronaldo, Messi, Pogba, Hazard etc but no, wake up Dieter, you are not! :o)

I play soccer, I ride my bike and whenever I have time left I like trailrunning. My favorite team is the soccer team I was playing in.

We are a team together since university, we have done many things together. Yes yes, nasty things as well with a lot of beer, parties & having fun but on Sunday we were always fighting for each other.

The reason why I pick my team is because the year we were champion, it was one of the best times in my life. I never knew good friendship could occur with a big group of players. Most of the time you have a few best friends, but those years it was amazing.

We practiced 3x per week and on Sunday we had the game. Sometimes we won, sometimes we lost but every problem we left on the pitch. Any argument we throw in the group and it was this that made us to a winning team. For sure the year we won the cup.

Several years later, I look back with some sadness. Many of those friends got married, were not allowed anymore to go out or moved to another city but whenever we see each other again, we forget time and bring up the nicest memories of “ our time “.

It was the best time of my life. Something I want to share and try to see back in the life of my little daughters. If so, I know they learned the best lesion in life. As a team you achieve more and friendship if unpayable.
