As you all should now know by now, there is a massive 1.6x bonus on its way to all of the content creators here on Scorum. The Scorum Power we have earned to date will be multiplied by 1.6x on August 1. Here's the original post in case you missed it.

For example, let's say that on August 1 you have 1,000 Scorum Power in your account earned from posting, commenting, voting, etc. After the rewards are distributed, which will also occur on August 1, you will now have 1,600 SP. 

Because the SP in your account will be multiplied on August 1, it must be earned by that time. All unpaid SP from post earnings will NOT be multiplied as a part of the bonus. 

What Does This Mean? 

This means that in order for a post, comment, or upvote to count towards this bonus, you must receive it before the bonus reward is calculated and paid out. 

How to Beat The Deadline

Posts, comments, and votes take approximately seven days from the time they are made to pay out to your account. To beat the deadline, your posts should be published at least seven days before August 1. 

The exact deadline according to the announcement post is 3:00 PM in Moscow (GMT +3) on August 1. 

Located in Illinois (U.S.), I am eight hours behind Moscow, meaning that at 3:00 PM in Moscow (15:00), it is 7:00 AM here (CDT). This means that I technically have until 6:59 AM (CDT) on July 25 for my posts, upvotes and comments to earn rewards in order to qualify for the 1.6x bonus. To learn when the deadline will be in your neck of the woods, use this time converter tool. I recommend that you complete your posts, votes, etc. well before the deadline of Wednesday, August 1 at 3:00 PM (GMT +3). 

As you work hard to take advantage of this bonus before it's too late, keep in mind that quality is much more important than quantity. One great post can earn you 10x what five good posts will earn here.
