The 18-member Indian Men Team has been announced for the Hockey World Cup 2018. Manpreet Singh, the Indian team's command, has been handed over to the World Cup. The tournament will be organized at Kalinga Stadium, Bhubaneswar on November 28.
In this Indian team, six young players have been included in the Bhil team which was part of the team that won the gold medal in the 2016 Junior World Cup.
India's experienced midfielder Chinglesana Singh will cooperate with the team led by Manpreet in the role of vice-captain. India will play their first match against South Africa in the World Cup tournament.
Indian team has been included in Pool-C with South Africa, Canada and Belgium for doing Odisha Hockey World. In order to enter the quarter-finals, he has to stay at the top spot in Pool-C.
