If there is any sport logo that i crave so much for, it is no any other logo but ADIDAS. This logo comprises of 3 stripe and it was founded in August 18, 1949 by Adolf Dassler. Though it didn't started as ADIDAS, it was first know as Gebrüder Dassler Schuhfabrik but then it was a company been run by the Dassler brothers; Adolf Dassler and Rudolf Dassler.
Adolf Dassler was the one who started the company in 1924 in his mother house in Herzogenaurach, Germany. where he made different types of sport shoes after he has come back from world war 1 and his brother Rudolf Dassler join the business and they started producing spiked running shoes popularly know as Spike for numbers of athlete.
The company became popular in 1936 when Jesse Owens was persuaded to use it in the Olympics where he celebrated 4 Gold medal. The demand for ADIDAS Spike grow to the extent that they distributed over 150,000 pairs every year. The bad time finally come and they separated in 1947 when Rudolf started his own company called PUMA and Adolf rebrand the company name to ADIDAS.
The name was gotten from his real name, that is "Adi" a nickname from Adolf and Das from Dassler. Though, the myth behind it has it as All Day I Dream About Sport due to the fact that the company has ventured into every area of sport, producing sport wears, shoes, ball and many more for clubs and countries.
Two days ago, i was asked what is the full meaning of ADIDAS? I replied, All Day I Dream About Scorum and everyone busted into laugh and the last word there turn out to be the talking point. Even when i know i was wrong, I'm ready to defend it. For days and weeks now, i have seen myself posting continuously on this platform. Whenever i think or talked about Scorum, i think and also talked about sport.
Another name for Scorum to me is sport because aside from the fact that the platform reward every writers for writing, it is also another way of relating with sport lovers and sharing your own view on any argument. All day, i now dream about Scorum because i don't want to miss any part of the gist and lastly, writing on Scorum has also helped me to step up my writing on sport issues and now I can think about sport, talk about sport and finally write about sport.
