3D printed Scorum logo      Image - @satoshi

Hey everyone, Satoshi here.

Scorum is slated to launch their partnership program in the not-to-distant future and will offer sporting goods and merchandise. But, what if you want some Scorum merchandise at this very moment? Well, you’ll just have to wait.... until now!

I thought it’d be a fun little project to make a 3D model of the Scorum logo and 3D print it. The following is a series of photos and screenshots of how I did it. I used the 3D modeling program, Solidworks and used a picture of the Scorum logo to model from.

I sent the 3d model to 3dhubs.com and Nic Gaudio at Foundry IO printed it for me. The model is fairly small with each letter measuring roughly ~7/8" high and 1/2" thick. I didn't want to go crazy with the printing because I'm not made of money and I just wanted to get a feel for what the entire process would be like.

Got a 3D printer or know someone who does?

Want to print your own?

Say no more.

I made the 3D model available for download here

Final Thoughts

It's a pretty simple model and this project was just to see what the process would be like. I'm planning other, more complicated models like a Scorum key-chain in the future. Maybe a bottle opener? Got an idea for something I should make? Let me know what you'd like to see in the comments below!
