So here we are in the new year, and hopefully all of you managed to come over here without any problems. Over here, the year 2022 has begun as the old year has ended. White and snowy, and cold and a bit stormy. But maybe this is even a good sign, from now we gonna have enough possibilities to rise and improve.

It looks that we will see quite some interesting and exciting news here at Scorum soon. So let us keep our heads and hopes high and make this project a huge success. I know we had to be patient in the past and also the future is not clear and has not yet been written. But I am optimistic that we are going the right path and will eventually reap what we haven sown.

Here in the Far East, the Year of the Tiger has now been ushered in and I'm sure most people are now full of anticipation and hope. In Japan it is a tradition to start the new year with a visit and of course a prayer at a Shinto shrine (Shinto is the traditional tradition of Japan). This first shrine visit is then also called Hatsumode 初詣, which could be translated as "first prayer". But it does not necessarily have to be a shrine, whoever finds it convenient and pleasant, may then also exchange the shrine for a Buddhist temple. To each as he likes it.

Exactly that should be the motto for this new year. Everyone can and should be happy following their own way and ideas and try to make the best out of the next 12 months.

I wish you all a good start into this wonderful year, full of new possibilities and chances for all of us. Don't get stressed and most of all don't forget the dreaming.

明けましておめでとうございます。 Akemashite Omedetto Gozaimasu!
