A huge thank you out to the great people who took the time to nominate some other Scorum writers for the third round of Scorum Patronage. This time nominations were down quite a bit but I am still glad to see some interesting names showing up.

As in the weeks before, I will again assist one of our new Scorum users and visit their blog daily and upvote one post a day for the next seven days. I will use 100% of my voting power, unless I have the feeling the post might not deserve such a big upvote. I will keep this option for articles, which I feel don't meet the quality standards we would like to see here at Scorum. However so far I never had to reduce my voting power at all and I am optimistic the coming week will be the same.

By upvoting some some newer writers I hope this will help them to get started and to get recognized a bit more. As we all know this can be very tough at time, I still have to notice this myself. It's crucial to stay motivated, therefor I will visit, read and comment all their posts for the next seven days. And when the week is over, I'm also planning on introducing that user in a separate article, to give him or her some extra exposure.

Alright back to the nominations. Every week I keep asking you the following question:

Which user here at Scorum deserves a little attention and should be supported by me for a week?

This time 6 Scorum members joined and and we had 4 different candidates. Three users suggested @kristyyd therefor she got the most nominations and will be the beneficiary for the following week.

@kristyyd ' s profile is set for New York but I remember hearing she is hanging in India these days. Please correct me when I am wrong. She has just joint last month and posted six times with quite some success already. I am very glad to assist some of our great Scorum women, who apparently is into American football and the NFL.

I will visit her profile tomorrow and visit her next post to let her know the community has chosen her to be assisted by the Scorum Patronage project.

Looks like I am going to widen my horizon this week, I am really looking forward to reading about kristyy's world of sport.

Of course it would be great if you could visit her blog too and let her know that she is very welcome to enrich our exciting and fascinating Scorum platform.

This is now the third round of Scorum Patronage, which is my humble idea to help new Scorum writers to get some more exposure and attention. Getting noticed and read it not as easy if you don't have some big name or already some bunch of followers who visits your profile and supports you.

I am still working on this project and am looking for ideas to improve it into the right direction. Nominating other user should not be seen as some kind of duty but rather as a way to create some great spirit and some uniting vibes here at Scorum. Therefor I want to encourage everyone to check out the profiles of the other nominees and see if there is something interesting to read for you. For me exploring different writers has the positive side effect of extending my own horizon quite a bit.

Let's not forget, blogging here on Scorum is not only for getting a fat upvote. Interaction and some genuine comment under one of our articles can be some really motivating and stimulating feedback as well.

Because...Isn't the reason for writing to be read?
