I hope everyone had a few days to relax and recharge their batteries. Some of us might be still enjoying some days off while other like me are already back to work. Fortunately it is going to be a short week and we are rapidly approaching another last highlight of this challenging year 2018
And even there are just a few days left this year but that wont stop me from opening another round of Scorum Patronage.
It's going to be round number seven already and since it will be the final round this year I decided to do it the same way as the last round. Most of us are hopefully still feeling merry and therefor I am not only asking you to nominate some other writer who might need my support in the coming week but I am also keeping this round open for everyone to nominate themselves.
And of course the same applies as last week.
If you would like to nominate yourself I am asking for some reasons why you would deserve to be sponsored and supported for a whole week. Whether your wallet is full with Scorum Power or completely empty, I don't care at all. I just want you to be a little creative, so pour out your heart and let me know why you need or just want my assistance.
You are free to bring your friends or even your hood to support your pledge. Who knows, it could increase your chances dramatically. Or blow it all.
Be completely honest, or just bluntly lie.
Send me a bottle of Sake!
All tricks are allowed!
Be yourself and just write it up into the comment section. On Sunday I will then consider who I should choose as the winner of this round. You can be completely free and are encouraged to go wild and open up yourself.
It's the end of the year, which means it's the right time to celebrate.
To celebrate friendship and community, but also the time to celebrate ourselves.
And yourself!
There will be lots of upvotes for entertaining and creative comments, so just be silly and let the merry time never end.
The main idea behind Scorum Patronage is still to encourage everybody to become more engaging and start interacting with other users, especially the ones who have just joined our wonderful platform. We all need to help building some strong and genuine community, were people start look behind their own horizon and start thinking long-term.
As written before this week I'm visiting @peman85’s blog, a Scorum writer wo joined in summer but still hasn't gotten to pro level yet.
My humble assistance has already helped some writers to get more attention and a few of them are doing pretty well now here on Scorum. I am very glad to see this!
As I do after every round I will also introduce the winner of this round in an extra post later on, to let everyone know what you might have missed out on.
A few more things:
- If you win this Patronage round I wont upvote your posts if they only consist of a few pictures and links but no substantial content. I explicitly reserve the right to reduce the value of my upvote since I want to encourage everyone to stick to the level of quality which we all want to see here at Scorum.
- And I also need your articles to be writing in a language I can understand, this will be in English or if you are really cool also in German. Unfortunately other languages can't be considered.
Scorum Patronage will surely continue next year to support writers who need help and assistance. But since we are still at the beginning I am still thinking how to improve my little initiative to help other Scorum members finding and growing some audience for their blog posts.
If you have any questions or just want to chat please hook me up on Discord. Scorum Patronage is running some channels on the "I am Scorum"-server were you can see recent announcements and nominations and you will have a chance to discuss any problems or suggestions.
It's the end of the year so let's make this round as entertaining and distractive as possible. Let us not stop feeling merry, now is the time to celebrate that we have found our way to this creative and energy place.
I am looking forward to catching up with you soon,
