And the decision is made!

Here we are again, on a Sunday evening, ready to announce this week's Scorum Patronage beneficiary. I am glad this time we had more than one nomination, and the participation was way better than the week before.

So let us start by saying "Thank you" to everyone who came over to suggest a Scorum user who could need some support. And also to the people who upvoted the announcement post for more visibility.

This week too, I will assist one writer for a whole of seven days and visit his or her blog to read and upvote one post daily. I am planning on using 50 to 100% of my voting power, according to length and quality of each article. However, I reserve myself the right to lower my vote if I feel a post is not making it up to the quality standards we would like to see here at Scorum.

What is Scorum Patronage?

The plan behind Scorum Patronage is to support and upvoye writers to help them to get their posts noticed by the Scorum community. We all have experienced how tough blogging can be, therefor it is essential to stay motivated. That's why I will visit, read and comment all posts of the "choice of the community" for the next seven days. And after that week, I'm also going to write an article where I will introduce that certain writer, what hopefully helps to shed some more light on their work

Let's get back to the nominations. Every week I keep asking you the following question:

Which user here at Scorum deserves a little attention and should be supported by me for a week?

This week we had three nominations for three different writers, so again I had to take a closer look at everybody's profile to choose this week's winner.

After comparing the amount of SP in their wallets and how long they have been active on Scorum I decided that this week's winner will be: @larry-jazz

He was nominated by @herbaycity, who was assisted by Scorum Patronage two weeks ago and who is also getting a full upvote from me for nominating this weeks winner first.

There was actually a nomination for a writer with less SP, but @freddbrito has only written three articles so far, and I would like to see whether he really continues blogging here at Scorum. Thanks to @jon.bonomo for this nomination, please suggest him in another round so we can give him another chance.

Also thanks to @easyboi for the third nomination, I am glad there are always a few people out each week who are thinking about some other Scorum members who could need a little push and assistance.

So for this week, @larry-jazz it is - Congratulation !

He has joined Scorum already last June and has been writing about different kind of sports. I can see basketball, baseball, football and also martial arts, therefor I am looking forward to some interesting reads this coming week.

I will start upvoting him from Monday and also leave him some comment telling him that he will be assisted by Scorum Patronage this coming week. Hopefully he will be able to find some new readers for his posts and feels encouraged to provide as with some more quality posts.

Some last words for today...

As mentioned above I am happy to see more people joining this nomination round. Last week we only had one nomination, thanks to @dexpartacus, who -if you haven't noticed before- is also upvoting the writers who are accompanied by Scorum Patronage. Being assisted for a whole week should now be a really promising opportunity, and if the chosen Scorum members take it seriously could easily bring their articles right into the hot section and help them getting noticed.

I am still a bit behind with upvoting, but so far I have managed to stick to my promises and commitments. On some days I might be late but I will surely catch up with everything.

And I am always open to your comments and suggestions. Just drop me a line or visit me in the Scorum Patronage channels which I am running on the "I am Scorum" Discord server. Stop by and and say "Hi" even if you just want to chat.

You can also find the latest announcements and the profiles of all the former beneficiaries. Feel free to join building a place were people share ideas about how to support other community member's grow and how to make the Scorum platform a huge success.

Catch all you guys soon...

Love and Respect !
