Hello Scorum,

here am I again and it is already middle of January. We are still waiting for some snow this year and somehow it feels we are being stuck in an endless late autumn loop. Cooler days with lots of rain and mist, at least there is still some occasional sun between all those dark clouds to cheer us up and brighten our mood. I wonder whether we will go directly into spring this time and just skip the winter. Not sure whether this will be a good thing, at least the farmers over here won't be too happy since they need snow for producing that great and delicious rice they are making every year and which is necessary to make their awesome Japanese sake. Well there are still some weeks to go and the winter season is not over yet at all.

And since it is Thursday again I want to invite you all to another round of Scorum Patronage.

I need you to to have a look and think which Scorum user could use some more support. Then nominate this user in the comment section of this post and leave the rest to me. On Sunday I will check through all nominations and chose the candidate who got nominate the most as our next beneficiary.

My job won't be finish yet, since from there I will accompany the chosen user for a total of seven days to read their articles and to support them with my upvotes. Which will hopefully help to bring some more attention to their profiles and to encourage them to continue writing quality sport blogs.

But I will not only visit the winner's blog, but in addition give out some big votes for the person who nominates this round's winner first. Plus I will also leave some upvotes on every genuine nomination or comments. Let's see if this will eventually bring some more people onto joining the nominations.

Nominations for WEEK 3

This gonna be the third round of Scorum Patronage in 2020. I usually ask you a very simple a question:

Which user here at Scorum deserves a little attention and should be supported by me for a whole week?

Please nominate me some Scorum users who need some support or some initial boost. I am thinking about all those new members of our growing and creative community but also about everyone else who is having a hard time finding its place here on Scorum.

Some last words...

Even though it is winter it is also Handball time again. At least for the European nations which are playing the European Championships now, which are held in three countries this time, in Norway, Sweden and Austria.

The German team had a rather struggling start with two wins out of their first three games. First the defeated the Netherlands but then lost against the strong Spanish squad. And yesterday they just managed to avoid losing versus the team from Latvia. At the moment the German side is ranking second in their group behind Spain and is now in the next round. If the Germans don't want to get send home soon they must urgently fix their defense problems and start showing a performance like last year at the Word Championships, when they went up to the semi-finales.

World Champion Denmark is still struggling to avoid early elimination, some faith which had already struck the French team. After two surprising defeats the French side has now chance anymore to reach the next round and can start packing their bags. Denmark needs to hope for a defeat of the Hungarian team, if those manage to get at least a draw they Word Champion can go home as well. Interesting time are ahead!
