Hello Scorum...what's going on?
It's a beautiful day in this part of the world and somehow it doesn't feel that we are approaching winter. I should actually prepare and get ready to change tires, usually we should get the first snow in a couple of weeks. But somehow it feels that's still far away, the thermometer is supposed to climb up to almost twenty degrees tomorrow, before it will fall again to somewhere below 10. This autumn was rather warmer than it used to be but the cold season is definitely just behind the next corner.
And of course Christmas has come over us her in the Far East as well, places and shops got decorated, at least we are still spared those obnoxious music, however I am afraid that torture will start pretty soon as well. Just a few more weeks before we can say good bye to 2019, I really hope we will somehow see some more positive news rolling in before the year finishes. But it is pretty hard to stay so optimistic!
However somebody has to be here to encourage the other to not give up and keep things bouncing. If all of us start feeling blue we can just leave and let this place die. I have already put in to much time and heart blood to just wave and move on. I still believe Scorum has a great future, and I hope there are more like-minded people here on this platform.
That's why today on Sunday I want to announce our next Scorum Patronage beneficiary. As always let my first say thank you the everyone who has supported me and who has joined the nominations. Without you guys I wouldn't have come so far.
What is Scorum Patronage?
The idea behind Scorum Patronage is to accompany some different writer every week to help him to fins some exposure and to get out into the Scorum spotlight. Getting noticed can be tough so I am sure a helping hand can always be useful.
You can find this round's announcement by following this link:
Let's get back to the nominations. I always come up with the same, very simple question:
Which user here at Scorum deserves a little attention and should be supported by me for a week?
This week we had only one nomination, thanks to the @fitness.life for not letting me down. I will send you some nice upvote on your nomination comment.
And only one nomination makes things much easier. After checking and accepting our candidate I hereby declare our new beneficiary.
Congrats go out to @prechyrukky!
She (yes that's right !!!) has been here on Scorum for over a year but only taking up writing again recently. I hope my support will encourage her to take up writing now full scale and to provide us with some more quality posts.
I will start upvoting our winner from tomorrow and also leave our winners a message telling them that they will be assisted by Scorum Patronage.
As always I am planning to vote with up to 100% of my voting power, but of course it all depends on quality and quantity. And in case I am sensing any scent of copy and past posts, or stolen content I reserve myself the right to not vote at all. But hey, I am always positive that we are getting some great content this week.
That's why I am looking forward to some great articles and to get to know some different Scorum blogger this week.
Some last words...
Bundesliga and most other European leagues are in a short break due to the international games held this weekends. There are quite some qualification matches for next year's Euro Cup which will be help all over the continent.
The German squad is slowly getting back on track after that disastrous year 2018, where they were kicked out of the World Cup after the first group round, losing to South Korea and Mexico resulted in tremendous disaster for the former world champion. However the new German team already manged to get their tickets for next year's tournament after beating the Belorussian team 4:0. But of course you can't really count Germany to the favorites for the EURO 2020, something the whole country still has to get used to.
The Netherland who are in the sane qualification group only drawed in a goalless game against North Ireland but still have way more momentum behind them. Since the last world cup, which they couldn't join due to a missed qualification, the young Oranje squad has celebrated quite some impressive wins and pleased lots of football fans in many different countries, this style of football is what the people want to see next year too.
The qualification games are still on and Germany will next face North Ireland on Tuesday. This game won't be as easy as against Beloussia, let's see where the German squad really stands!
Alright, that is all for today, I am wishing all of you a great rest of the day and a week full of exciting tasks and encouraging challenges. As I wrote before I will have some busy days preparing for the big move back home on the other side of this planet.
But you can bet that I will be back soon with another nomination round and I am hoping to see you all there.
Feel free to leave me some comments or critics, since I am still planning on improving my initiative. Just hook me up with your thoughts.
Catch all you guys soon...
