CryptoGames Conference is taking place in Minsk these days. Yesterday (October, 17 2018) Scorum Marketing Manager John McTavish had a 30 minutes to tell community about Scorum betting platform. You can find main ideas from his presentation below.

First of all John mentioned that betting platdorm should be based on three "F": fast, free and fun. Scorum team build betting platform according to these 3 principles. After this speaker briefly explained to audience what Scorum is: blog platform + stat center + fantasy + betting. Than he shared some market data. For example, market cap for betting and fantasy sport is about one trillion dollars.

In next part John spoke about technical basis for future betting platform, Graphene framework, opportunities it gives, transaction costs and speed. But as for me the most interesting slides were in the end. Firstly John said that Scorum team plans to launch betting platform in ... next month! But we should understand that this term may be changed during testing period. The second thing is platform design. The most important features are shown on picture below.

And the third one is planning expansion model. Scorum team understands that only Scorum community is not enough for betting platform growth. So they plan to use such opportunities as stable coins that will be backed with no-crypto assets (it will allow to make bets for example in USD), external integration (white-label solutions) and secure funds.
