This article I dedicate to the common rules on Scorum platform. I noticed that a lot of people can’t understand the main principles and rules on blog. So I will try to make clear for you the functionality and also tell you how spend your time more effectively on Scorum.

Let’s start.

First of all I want to tell you who can be interested in Scorum blog. As you could decide, it is anyone who participates directly or indirectly in sports, who is interested in sport or even wants to spend his time reading quality content with different kinds of sport. I am sure you can easily find something interesting for yourself.

Also there is reward schema on Scorum. So many of blog users ask community or each other how be rewarded, how does financial flow look like.

So from the very start after registration your balance is equal to 5 SP. It is your initial capital. How can you increase it? There are some decisions:

1. The simplest way is to buy SCR on exchange or via Scorum wallet. Then you can easily convert SCR in SP. Conversion will be done at once in the system.

a. But remember that if you want to convert SP in SCR it will take 1 year. The defined sp amount will be divided on 52 weeks (that is equal to 1 year) and each week the proper amount will be proportionally converted.

2. You can write posts or comments. In this case author reward is 75% of his post reward or 37,5% of his own comment reward.

3. You can vote for posts and comments and be rewarded. Voters reward is 25% of post/comment reward that is divided between all post/comment voters according the rules.

a. Each vote decrease your battery (VP) on 5% if your SP balance is less than 1000 SP or 5%*X (where X is the percentage of your vote) if your balance is more than 1000 SP.

b. Battery recovers from 0 to 100% for 5 days or on 0.83% for each hour.

c. Active voters with not full battery (VP not 100%) are rewarded once a week too.

Remember that the more SP balance the higher your vote and it means the higher reward you will be given.

In what places can you vote? – Upvote is available on post page or profile page (from post card). Downvote (flag) is available on post page, profile page (from post card) and on home page (from post card). Attention, users are not rewarded for downvoting.

Also there is nice functionality to follow your favorite accounts and their content. All followers’ posts are shown in the section “From your network”.

Blog functionality includes such possibility as SP delegation. The aim is to help young promising users to start quickly. They can use delegated SP for voting but they can’t convert them in SCR. Delegator can take back delegated SP at any time he want. It is something like sponsorship: you do a favour for young stars and take bake plus in your karma.
