Greetings!

I'm schattenjaeger. Despite the username, I'm Finnish, not German. After a two year tenure on Steemit, a few friends of mine recommended that I'd join Scorum. Now, there's a word to add to my spellcheck dictionary right away.

Okay, done.

So far, I like what I'm seeing. I liked the more focused concept of the site, as opposed to a general blogging platform. And sports, obviously, are a huge thing, grossly downplayed on Steemit.

This place seems to be filled with genuine engagement, and that's a joy.

When it comes to the world of sports - and pseudo sports - I'm a fan of combat sports, as well as an old, somewhat lapsed, fan of pro wrestling.

But despite being a lapsed fan, I do enjoy running my mouth about the good old days. I'm a retro guy at heart anyway. I've never quite left the 90s in a lot of ways.

As far as wrestling goes, I'm a walking Wikipedia for all things WWF, WCW, ECW, AWA, WCCW, and very much beyond. I am looking forward to reviewing old shows, doing retrospectives and whatnot.

In more recent times, I've been enjoying UFC, as well as some of the smaller organizations, such as Bellator. Myself, I'm a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

I'm also a big fan of hockey - I'm Finnish, after all - but combat sports have always been my drug of choice.

Other than sports, I'm also very much into speedrunning retro video games, my specialty being the Mega Man series. It'd be cool to get a competitive scene happening here one day in the future.
