  1. Lindsey has won 82 World Cup races in her career.
  2. She currently holds the women's record for the number of World Cup races won.
  3. Lindsey won a gold medal in the downhill event and a bronze in the super-G event at the 2010 Winter Olympic Games in 2010 (Vancouver, Canada).

  1. Lindsey started skiing at the very tender age of 2.
  2. Lindsey was noticed internationally in the year 1999.  At just 14 years of age she won a slalom race in Italy.
  3. In January of 2013 Lindsey crashed during a run at the Alpine World Championships.  She tore two ligaments in her knee thus ending her 2013 season. 
  4. She returned to racing in December 2014.  One month later she won her 63rd career World Cup race.  At that time, she broke the record for the most World Cup victories for any female skier in the history of the sport. 
  5. In March 2016 she fractured her leg and withdrew from the remainder of the 2016 season.  
  6. Lindsey returned in January 2017 and eventually received a bronze medal at the World Championships.  
  7. While participating in the World Championships, Lindsey became the oldest woman ever to receive a medal.  She was just 32 years of age.
