On the third day of the 2018 Asian Games performance at the Aquatic Bung Karno Stadium, Chinese swimmer, Chinese swimmer, Liu Xiang set a new world record for the 50 meters women's backstroke in the 2018 Asian Games final.

He scored 26.98 seconds, Liu Xiang managed to beat the previous world record of 27.06 seconds printed by Chinese swimmer Zhao Jing at the 2009 Rome Aquatic World Championship.

The gold medal won by Liu added to the Chinese swim team medal. 

And this time Gold is the first medal at the 2018 Asian Games.

China also dominates in Wushu sports.

China added gold to the 2018 Asian Games through its athlete Zhaohua Wu in Daoshu-Gunshu men's wushu sports.

In the final match which competed the Gunshu number, Wu got 9.76 points, the same as the score he got on the Daoshu number which took place on Monday (8/20).

China also won gold at the All Round Jianshu & Qiangshu Women's Wushu through its athlete, Mengjiao Guo.
