MIAMI - Rafael Nadal climbed to world number one in the newly released ATP rankings. Certainty was obtained after Roger Federer failed champion in the event the Miami Open 2018.

Federer failed to champion in Miami after a handful of unseeded tennis player Thanasi Kokkinakis in the second round. The defeat of 6-3, 3-6, 6 (4) -7 made Federer at that time certainly going to lose top spot in the ATP rankings.

From ATP data, Nadal is currently in the 1st position of the world with the acquisition of 9.310 points. The Spaniard leads 2.230 points from Roger Federer (Switzerland) who dropped to second place with 7.080 points.
