Would you like to live like Roger Federer? Neither do I.

Roger Federer always travels with a number of teams and family to tournaments, so he often can’t cover the expenses for some tournaments. Poor guy, he has to work his butt off just to pay traveling tickets for his team!

Compared to the majority of players, around the Swiss, there are a huge number of people on tournaments, and this often creates additional pressure.

“The team is very important to me, I always thought you are as good as members of your team. I have a huge team, sometimes it can put pressure on, because I have to get to the quarterfinals to cover the costs at least”

However, Federer does not see pressure as necessary a bad thing.

“When I was not nervous it would mean that I no longer care. Pressure can not be avoided, we are not robots, we are human beings, sometimes with sufficient confidence sometimes with too much. This is not a good sign, you have to find the balance”.

Federer was eliminated in the quarter-finals of Wimbledon, so at least his trip to London was not a travel loss. 😄
