The European team manages to win the Laver Cup for the second consecutive year against the World Team. The crucial match of this friendly tournament was between Alexander Zverev and Kevin Anderson, where German Zverev defeated the South African 6-7 7-5 10-7.

The success before this meeting was achieved by legend Roger Federer, who defeated American John Isner 6-7 7-6 10-7. The special thing was the fact that the Swiss played the role of coach Zverev in the last game, which proved to be decisive.

This was the second edition of Laver Cup, where last year was again the team made up of European players who won the victory, led by Federer and Rafa Nadal. This competition took place in Chicago, United States, while last year it was in Prague, Czech Republic.

Many of the world's best tennis players take part in this tournament. This season, the European team's representatives were Federer, Djokovic, Zverev, Dimitrov, Goffin and Edmund, while Anderson, Isner, Schwartzmann, Sock, Kyrgios and Tafoe played for the World Team.
