These posts contain previews on matches from the Belgian League with some on my personal bets, live-betting angles, Team Form, Injuries and Team News.

Wednesday was a good day despite keeping the stakes to a minimum, 2 more matches today before the winter break. Part 2 of the season will start on Friday 18 January.

Lokeren vs Club Brugge

Club Brugge put up a strong performance last week at home against Antwerp. They have not been reliable though these past months and it remains a big question mark is the good or bad Club Brugge will show up today. The in-play match picture should give a lot of answers early on in this match and there is no need to get involved pre-game on the heavy away favorite line. Lokeren played a couple good first halves and even won against Sint-Truiden in their last away match but was quite poor against Waasland last week. They can play a good part of a match but rarely keep their focus often giving things away late in the match. I might look to bet them 1st Half if the match picture allows it and I might oppose them if they somehow take the lead and Club Brugge starts to take over. Sollied has played quite offensive with his team so the over will also be on my radar. No Pre-Game Bets

Anderlecht vs Waasland

Anderlecht have shown that their overall player quality simply is not good enough for a top team and they are very low on confidence and close to dropping outside the top 6. They took only 1 point from their last 5 league matches not even playing against many top sides. Right now it would be a huge gamble to take the pre-game -1.25 line. Waasland on the other side are on a 3 game win streak against teams that include Club Brugge and Antwerp. I'm still not sold on this team though and see them as one of the main relegation candidates along with Lokeren. Usually, these 'lucky winning streaks' from smaller teams tend to continue followed by a losing stream regressing to the mean after the first defeat. A top team in trouble against a bottom side in a good streak should produce goals and I will have my eye on the Over Live. No Pre-Game Bets

Late team news might change my views on these matches. I take all my pre-game and live bets at Sportmarket Pro which are a European Betting Broker that is aimed towards more serious Sports Bettors. They always offer the best odds on the market with high limits and do not restrict winning player. On some of the bets, I take a bit extra in BTC. All these bets are shared exactly as I take them right after having placed them on Nitrogensports which means the odds should be available to follow for those who want.
