It was a frustrating match on Wednesday betting wise. I really liked the angles and the bets I took accordingly but it was one of those matches where everything just went against. The clash on Sunday between Antwerp and Charleroi for the last Europa League ticket will be the final match of the season.
FC Antwerp vs Charleroi
Both these teams and coaches have a similar defensive style breaking down opponents and finishing the match on the counter. They are both aware of it and I would be surprised to expect anything else but a very careful start of the match. Charleroi lost their focus for one second in the match against Kortrijk early on when Avenatti got injured allowing Kortrijk a rare chance which was scored early on. This goal did not break the match wide open all of a sudden but Charleroi scored the 1-1 in the final minutes of the first half. I am again going with the 1st half Under in this one and took Antwerp vs Charleroi 1st Half Under 1 @ 1.877 on Sportmarket Pro and some extra in BTC on Nitrogensports. The FT under 2.5 is also an option along with the 1H 0-0 correct score. For as far as the side goes, my lean would go out to the visitors as the underdog and I might end up taking some of the +0.5 line pre-game. They have a slight advantage of having been in a winning mood right now while Antwerp struggled at the end of the season. Playoff 1 teams traditionally win this match though and aside from Racing Genk none of the teams that came from playoff 2 have been able to get that ticket. I will be following the match live as usual hoping to find something good to bet along the way.
