Best Odds on West Ham, Burnley and Bournemouth to win

A limited programme of Premier League matches for you this weekend with many of the big teams still involved in the FA Cup. This week's fixtures represent a chance for those involved to get ahead of the curve as we head into an international break. You can back all 3 home teams today at 10% better odds than can be found elsewhere - good luck and remember to get in there as quickly as possible as these flash odds are limited!

West Ham vs Huddersfield

It's been a strange season for West Ham as they've often produced performances that go against the gut instinct. Turning up to play well against the big boys is fine, but they have also let themselves down against teams they really should be dismantling. Due to this, they're currently sat comfortably in 9th place but there is a feeling that they should probably be slightly higher up the table. Most people would fancy their chances against Huddersfield, who are destined to drop out of the Premier League, but the same thing was said before their defeat to Cardiff.

Huddersfield are playing for pride now as they have no chance of remaining in the Premier League beyond this season. Having accumulated just 14 points all season, losing 22 games in the process, you have to feel somewhat sorry for the supporters who have turned up to watch this team every week. With just 15 goals to their name in total it's difficult to see a win against West Ham here but you never know in this league.

Team News

Arnautovic is available for selection for West Ham for the first time since January. Reid, Sanchez, Carroll, Wilshere, and Yarmolenko all remain sidelined.

Depoitre, Diakhaby, Duhaney, Hogg, Mbenza, and Williams are all unavailable for selection for Huddersfield.

Key Stats

  • West Ham have not been beaten at home in any competition in 2019, winning 4 and drawing 2 in the process
  • Despite their fine form at home they have struggled to keep clean sheets at the Olympic Stadium this season - just 3 so far
  • However, Huddersfield have not scored a goal away from home in 5 games so this match could be the perfect opportunity to improve on that record

Betting Tips

Huddersfield are down and have been for some time. As has been suggested in previous blogs it's imperative that mid table teams build up a head of steam in the later part of this season in order to give them a bit of momentum going into next and I believe that West Ham have the ambition to do just that.

Burnley vs Leicester

Burnley supporters will be feeling the pressures of a relegation battle at the moment. Their team sits in 17th place in the Premier League table, just 2 points clear of the relegation zone with 8 games remaining in the season. Having lost 3 consecutive games, Burnley need to turn things around quickly but they're up against a Leicester team that's feeling positive following the appointment of Brendan Rodgers as manager.

Leicester currently find themselves sitting comfortably in 10th position in the Premier League table. Although there's not much left for them to do this season, Brendan Rodgers will want his players to show him that they deserve to remain at the club beyond the current season. He'll also be looking to implement his own strategies which could mean an immediate improvement or teething issues.

Team News

Both teams have long term absentees in the form of Defour and Lennon for Burnley while Amartey and Albrighton remain injured for Leicester. With no fresh injury concerns, it's conceivable that neither side makes any changes for this fixture

Key Stats

  • Burnley's club record for consecutive losses is 4 and could be equalled here at the hands (or feet) of Leicester
  • Leicester have failed to keep a clean sheet in 9 consecutive matches, the last of which was against Everton on New Year's Day
  • In Ashley Barnes and Jamie Vardy this game sees 2 of the leagues in form forwards go head to head. Barnes has scored in his last 3 home games and Vardy has 5 in 5 for Leicester

Betting Tips

At the start of the month Burnley were beating the likes of Spurs at Turfmoor in a run that had seen then travelling towards safety. Now a run of 3 defeats in a row coupled with wins for teams around them have put the Clarets right in it. Sean Dyche and the Burnley faithful will be looking for a big response today

Bournemouth vs Newcastle

Bournemouth will be feeling relatively safe in 12th place in the Premier League table on 37 points. Nonetheless, a poor run of form could see them sucked into the relegation battle and that is something they'll want to avoid at all costs. On the flip side of that, there is also an opportunity to really go for it and finish above the likes of Everton, Leicester, and West Ham United if they can finish strongly. Newcastle isn't an easy fixture at the moment, however, and they'd be leapfrogged on goal difference if they were to lose here.

Newcastle looked in real danger of being relegated for a long period of the season but have seen a huge upturn in form that has boosted them up the Premier League table. Rafa Benitez and his team are now in 13th place on 34 points, 6 points clear of the relegation zone. There is work to be done still, however, and supporters will be hopeful that they can grab another important 3 points here without any evidence of complacency.

Team News

Liverpool loanee Nathaniel Clyne is likely to start at right-back with Adam Smith injured and young Ryan Fraser who has had a fine season to date should be fit to play.

Newcastle's normally solid defence has a couple of key players missing with captain Jamaal Lascelles injured and Fabian Schar suspended.

Key Stats

  • Bournemouth have accumulated 25 points from home games so far this season, the most of any club outside of the top 6 places in the Premier League table
  • Newcastle have failed to win away from home in their previous 6 matches, losing 4 and drawing 2
  • Callum Wilson is looking to score in a 4th consecutive game while strike partner Josh King has 4 in his last 4

Betting Tips

This game sees a clash of footballing ideologies with the more attack minded Eddie Howe going up against the build from the back mentality of Rafa Benitez. Bournemouth's home form over the last couple of years has been what has kept them clear of danger in the Premier League and there is no reason to believe that they can't continue that pattern today against a Newcastle team stripped of a couple of key defenders.
