Hello everyone, hope you are having a great betting weekend. As for me, it has been a roller coaster as some of the predictions were up to the mark and others were way off so I was initially hesitating to assess the damage but it was not as bad as I thought. It's just that we humans tend to focus on the red more than the green. Therefore, starting right away from the cover photo I shall share some positive predictions for some of the leagues at which my predictions are working better than the others i.e. Spanish La Liga and Italian Series A so they might be able to add some mint to our red chili tables.

  • Spain La Liga

  1. Villarreal vs. Espanyol

The clash of the underdogs is about to take place where the visitors have an unpredictable form. Sometimes they pull down teams like Real Betis to a draw and manage to score goals against Real Madrid and Sociedad whereas their loss/draw percentage is above 80%. The home team is not in a good form as well considering their 100% draw/loss stats, however, their scoring potential is higher than that of the visitors. In addition, the away form of the visitors is terrible as they failed to grab a victory till now, therefore, the prediction model is favoring a close home win with high possibility of a draw. The odds available for the home win (1.8) are probably low considering their form so I would take my chances with a draw.

  • Draw @4 (Home/Draw preferable)
  • Bet Value: Low for the Home win, High for a draw

2. Real Betis vs. Club Atletico

Even though the home team started their season well but could not manage the form and have fallen down to the 9th place while the visitors are just 5 points below the topper ‘Barcelona’ with one less match played. The visitors would see it as a golden opportunity to keep the race for the title going but Beticos have never been an easy break for the visitors. Even though most of their recent head-to-head games have ended with the Mattressers claiming the victory, however, with just the same score (0-1) most probably due to the strong defense-line of both teams. Therefore, following the tradition of Atletico’s win and considering the current declining form of the hosts, an away win is predicted.

  • Away win @2.17
  • Under 2.5 goals @1.8 or 55% chance of Under 2.0 goals @2
  • Bet Value: High

3. Eibar vs. Girona FC

Both teams are from the second half of the table where the hosts are sitting just 3 ranks higher than the visitors. The hosts are getting into a better form as they scored over 2.5 goals in their recent matches, however, a higher percentage of their fixtures ended up in a draw (over 50%) while the visitors are in a losing streak with over 60%. Their recent head-to-head matches ended up with the hosts claiming the victory even when they were on a visit which indicates the chances of a home win here.

4. Real Madrid vs. Alaves

This would not have been a one-sided fixture if only the Glorioso were in their previous form but interestingly the guests were also found struggling quite often because of which they still have a long way to go for the title. In addition, their recent head-to-head game ended with Alaves claiming the victory with 1 goal to Madrid’s nil, therefore, the visitors may face the guests with relatively better confidence and challenge. It is evidently a home win but I am probably trying to motivate myself in order to justify the fact that despite the stronger host side I was still tempted to try the juicy odds available for a draw.

  • Home win @1.2, Draw @6.9
  • Over 2.5 goals @1.7 is also a good option
  • Bet value: Low

  • Italy Series A

  1. Udinese vs. Fiorentina

The hosts are the underdogs here while the visitors are not only from the first but have also gained form and are managing back-to-back victories. On average they are scoring more than 1.5 team goals and that is about a goal higher than the average of the hosts. In addition, the visitors are leading the head-to-head score with over 70% wins and they have demonstrated a great form even in the away fixtures. Therefore, the available odds of 2.15 for away win is a value deal.

2. Genoa vs. Sassuolo

These two teams are probably the Watford and Brighton of Series A for each other, hard to stop and harder to score. They have recently come out of their darker caves of draws and now looking forward to enhancing their performance. Both teams have almost equally won their head-to-head fixtures and the guest’s home form is almost similar to the visitor’s away form. They are identical twins in terms of goal scoring and conceding average (around 1), therefore, it is hard to announce a victory here.

  • Draw @3.32
  • Bet Value: High as compared to elsewhere

3. Inter vs. Bologna

The host team needs no introduction here. They are performing well and are currently one of the toppers while the visitors are at the bottom of the table at around relegation zone. There is hardly a question about the host’s victory here so we might go for an alternative betting option. Even though the hosts are struggling to find the net more than 2 times/game recently but considering the nature of the fixture it is comfortable to say that they would win this game with at least 2 goals margin, therefore, the possible option could be:

  • Handicap -1.5 Inter @2
  • Bet value: Medium

4. Roma vs. Milan

We are all probably thrilled to witness the clash of the Titans as they take over each other for the 4th place brawl. The hosts have dominated the head-to-head fixtures with over 65% wins and have also a great home record, however, the wolves are currently howling in grief as they faced a horrific 7 goal defeat recently against Fiorentina and a draw with Bergamo. On the other end, Milan have brought in a new weapon ‘Piatek’ to their team and he would be motivated to perform. Considering the importance of the fixture and the equally matched talent at both ends, I would not prefer to draw a conclusion in any team’s favor. A possible draw with slight chances of away win could be predicted here.

  • Draw @3.5
  • Under 3.5 goals
  • Bet value: Medium

My Recent Betting Summary:

As mentioned before, I had some negative ROI this time. My main losses were from the fixtures of Hertha, Empoli, Brighton, Bremen, and Dortmund which were supposed to be otherwise. Anyhow, I am getting used to it now because it probably should be like a pendulum. My main target, for now, is to keep my overall ROI close to the neutral point and it is according to the idea. With the passage of time, I shall try to explore more favorable betting options and hope that it would improve. Have a great tomorrow and wish us all the best.
