Kerala Blasters FC is going visiting on Wednesday to Bengaluru Where Bengaluru FC are going to play hosts to them at the Kanteerava Stadium. The match is going to be like a dead rubber with Bengaluru sealing their place in the playoffs if they win while Kerala Blasters can only try and improve their position in the league table. The Kerala Blasters new coach Nelo Vingada, could endear himself to the Kerala Blasters fan club, the Manjapada. The West Block blues, the Bengaluru FC fans will be looking forward to Bengaluru sealing their semi-final place in this game itself.

Bengaluru FC has been impressive in their performance in the league this year. The league leaders have probably forgotten their 1-0 loss to Mumbai City FC which ended their 11 games unbeaten streak in the league with their 2-1 victory over North East United FC. While Kerala FC has a new Coach, Bengaluru FC has signed a new player in the winter break to replace Chencho Gyeltshen. Edmund Laldrindika could probably be initiated in the ISL tomorrow.

Kerala Blasters FC has a lot of ground to cover before they move ahead of their 9th place of the ten game league tables. They will look to improve on their one win and 7 draws record. They have not really impressed in the two games that they played under Vingada. Their full back, Laluatthara was shown a red card in their last match against Delhi Dynamos and will miss tomorrows match. That does not help Kerala blasters case of 13 for and 23 against goals.

Head to head

Bengaluru FC being inducted into the ISL only last year the two sides have played only three matches against each other all of which Bengaluru FC has won.

The current form of the two teams

Bengaluru FC is going into the match with a win under their belt after their only loss of the season to Mumbai FC. Kerala Blasters Fc, on the other hand, has suffered three defeats and two draws in their last five outings going into the match.

Players to watch for

Bengaluru FC may field Miku who was injured since the club defeated Kerala Blasters FC 3-1 last December. But Bengaluru will be fretting about their captain Sunil Chhetri not finding the back of the net in their last four games.

For Kerala Blasters FC Slavisa Stojanovic and Seminlen Doungel have been the scorers this season. Sahal Abdul Samad is an energetic midfielder that the Bengaluru players will have to watch out for.

Prediction

Kerala Blasters do not have much chance in this game unless they are more creative than they have been in their previous games this season. Bengaluru FC players will go all out to seal their position in the playoffs and this is the opportunity that they get on a platter. I expect Bengaluru FC to win the game 2-1.
