So its been a week since I last posted and things seem to be moving forward quite nicely. We had the Hard Fork on Monday, which updated the back end of Scorum to allow betting to function on the platform. We understand the team are now in the final testing phase and still look on track to launch the betting site in November.

So, we are still looking to run this promotion for the month of December, all bets placed during that period will count towards receiving a slice of the 5,000 SCR we are giving away.

We have decided the split of the 5,000 SCR will be 80% to all eligible bettors who place qualifying bets during the promotion period and that the remaining 20% of the funds will go to those bettors who are fortunate enough to show a profit for the month. The requirements for this competition are as follows :-

Be a member of the SBC Discord server.

Place a minimum of 500 SCR in bets during the promotion month.

Place a minimum of 10 bets in total.

At least 7 of those bets must be matched against different accounts.

The betting will be monitored and any accounts that appear to be gaming the promotion will not be eligible for a payout from the prize fund. This promotion is aimed as a celebration of the launch of Scorum Bet and a way for us to thank all those who have supported the SBC on the Scorum platform.

To clarify that last rule, if you have wagered 500 SCR and placed at least 10 bets, if at least 7 of those bets have not been placed against different users you will need to place more bets to qualify. This is to prevent accounts colluding to qualify for the payout.

So we can keep track of all users participating in this promotion the first steps that we require you to do is to leave just your Scorum handle in the following channel on the SBC Discord server.

It is strongly advised that you do leave your Scorum handle there so we do not accidentally leave you out of this promotion, our Discord server was started whilst we were active on Steemit and some users have different handles to their blogging ones and/or have not joined Scorum yet.

There is no deadline for entry but I am aiming to do a Scorum post halfway through the promotion that will list those entered (payout depending on meeting the betting requirements), giving you a chance to contact us if you are missing. If we are able to gather the betting data easily I may well do a weekly update on bets made and profit levels as they stand.

Should there be technical problems and the site does not launch in November we will roll the promotion over into the following month.
