In the ODI format of cricket, many teams play this format but there are some teams which are doing better in this format of cricket. As the top 10 ranking list has been announced on 12 August 2018 l, England is at the top of the list. South Africa has an series against Sri Lanka few days ago and in which South Africa had won that series with 3-2 win. South Africa started the series at 3rd position on the top ten list of ODI rankings. Despite beating Sri Lanka they slipped to fourth position in that list behind the New Zealand. On the begining of the series with Sri Lanka, South Africa had 113 points and New Zealand with 112 points. After the series Sri Lanks gained 80 points and demoted South Africa with 3 points and left them at 110 points. Which results to the 4th position in the list.
England with 127 points are leading the list and are 6 points ahead of India. India has 121 points and are at the 2nd position in the list.

- England with 127 rating at the top of list.
- India has 121 rate and remains at 2nd position.
- New Zealand is at 3rd position with 112 rate.
- South Africa at 4th position having 110 rate.
- Pakistan has 104 rating and are at the 5th position.
- Australia with 100 rating remains at 6th position.
- Bangladesh with 92 rating and are at 7th position.
- Sri Lanka have 80 rating and are at 8th position.
- West Indies with 69 rating and are at 9th position.
- Afghanistan have 63 rating and remain at the 10th position in the list.
