Two matches of the 5 ODI matches series has been finished. As we saw that pacers were not very effective in both of the matches. Not only pacers even spinners effectiveness was also less in those matches. In both matches, both of the team touch the target of the 300+ runs. Also, team selection was made for two ODI only. This time selectors have selected two top Indian medium pacers.
Mohammad Shami has gone out from the team. His figures were really not so attractive in past two matches. In the first match, he notched up two wickets for 81 runs in 10 overs. While in second, he has taken one wicket by spending 59 runs. However Umesh Yadav still in the team. His performance also not very impressive as I can see. He had spent 64 and 78 runs in both matches.
Umesh remained his place as a 3rd pace bowler in the team. Bumrah and Bhubaneshwar Kumar back after the rest. So now it will be interesting that new Indian pacer will able to do their work effectively in this match or not. However, these are the most reliable bowlers for India nowadays. Both of the bowlers are death over specialist. Combination of these two bowlers definitely gives trouble to WI batsman.
Again Kedar Jadhav suffered from bad luck. He is injured. Also rising star Prithvi shaw also suffering from the injury. Yet he has to debut in ODI cricket.
Indian team selectors testing best team for World cup 2019. So that they continually changing and giving chances to players. Next year, world cup 2019 will be started so these kinds of testing have become crucial team management.
Next one more important thing which we could expect is rest of Virat from T-20 series. This is quite interesting to see what selectors will decide. However, It is almost clear that Bhuvaneshwer and Bumrah`s places have confirmed in the world cup team. I am sure that Indian team definetly get benifit from these changes.
