The father of all cricket playing nations has released new ODI ranking. There is no significant change for pole position. Top position is still the same as previous. Currently, the top position is holding by Indians in both batsman and bowlers. In batting, top rank is holding by Indian captain Virat Kohli and in Bowling apex position hold by Indian bowlers Bumrah. Holding 884 points, Kohli stays on the first position. Also second position also acquisition made by Rohit , an opening batsman who played for India. Rohit has 842 points in the table. If look at bowlers Bumrah has 797 points.
If we observe the postion of top-10 batsman, 3 Indian batsman was able to make their position. Shikhar , who became the most trending and famous batsman in Asia cup has 802 points and stay on 5th position. In bowlers, two Indian are in top10. Kuldeep Yadav has made his place at 3rd position in bowlers ranking. One of the Indian stay at the 11th position.
Now if we look at team position, top place position has filled by England. After first position hold by India. There is the difference of 5 points gap in both two mentioned teams. England has total impressive 127 points.
These rankings of the team may change as England is about play ODI series against SriLanka and India is about to fight against WI. But there is very less chance that India can take over England. The reason is that, Both the teams are stronger who hold top status is about face a team who are not in good condition in cricket. So, I think the only miracle can change this position. If England defeated by SriLanka and India will have outplayed WI then might be a chance for India to go for top position.
