Sandeep Lamichhane and Sompal Kami have been shortlisted in for the Auction of Pakistan Super League. This is the first time Nepali players got shortlisted in the Auction List of PSL. Sompal Kami is probably the best pacer from Nepal and Sandeep is well known for his Spin bowling attack. Sompal Kami is listed on the Silver category Meanwhile Sandeep is listed in the Gold Category of a foreign player.
Sandeep Lamichhane has already taken part in Indian Premier League, Carabian Premier League, Global T20 League Canda and Afghanistan Premer League. He will also play in T10 League UAE, Big Bash League, and Bangladesh Premier League.
In IPL Sandeep has got five wickets in three matches for Delhi DareDevils. In Global T20 League Canada he got Eight Wickets in five games for Montreal Tigers. Meanwhile, in CPL, he got seven wickets in five Matches for Saint Kings and Nevis Patriots In APL he played just one game and picked up two wickets for Nanghar Leopards.
Sandeep has continued his impressive performance in different leagues. Sompal Kami hasn’t played in any international leagues until now, but he may get chance in PSL. Not only bowling but he can bat well in critical situations.
In the Auction players are divided into the five categories, they are Platinum, Diamond, Gold, Silver, and Emerging. In the fourth edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL) this year, six teams are going to battle. Each team has to pick a player from a Gold Category and two players from Silver Category. There are 232 cricketers included in the Silver Category of foreign players. Meanwhile, there are 75 players in the Gold Category of international players.
The PSL auction will be held on 20th November 2018. Sandeep Lamichhane has played in different T20 leagues all over the world. He has good chances to be embedded in the PSL auction. Sompal Kami is included in Auction List of T20 league for the second time this year. Earlier this year Sompal was included in the Afghanistan Premier League draft too. But he was not bid in the Auction of APL.
