Caribbean Premier League(CPL) is one of the most famous tournaments in cricket. It’s the domestic cricket tournament of West Indies, but it’s famous all over the globe. This year it has started from yesterday (August 8). This is the sixth season of Caribbean Premier League. This tournament will be played on the Twenty20 format. Six teams will battle for the title. Total 34 matches will be played on group stage and Knockout round. Three matches of this tournament will be played on the United States, and other matches will be played on home and away format.

Yesterday Trinbago Knight Riders defeated St Lucia Stars with a huge margin on 100 runs. After batting first, Trinbago Knight Riders managed to make 195 runs in 20 over. Then St Lucia Stars were all out in just 17.3 overs for 95 runs.

In the first round, only one match is played, and Trinbago Knight Riders were successful to kick off the tournament with a big win. Colin Munro scored 68 runs which are highest individual run in CPL 2018. Dines Ramdin also managed to score a half-century for Trinbago Knight Riders.
