Nepal beat UAE by four wickets in a sensational last over the finish in the second T20 match of this series. Now the series is drawn, and the last match will decide the winner of this T20 series.
DS Airee led the team victory with a six and a four in the last over. Nepal reached the target in the 19.3 over after the impressive inning from DS Airee. As like in the ODI series Nepal has made a comeback, now the final match of this series will be played tomorrow.
Sompal Kami and Sandeep Lamichhane destroyed batting first UAE's top order batting lineup. Except CP Rizwan other top order batsman failed to perform well. UAE was restricted to 107 runs in 19.2 overs. CP Rizwan scored 44 runs, Shaiman Anwar scored 14 runs, Mohammed Boota scored 11 runs, and all other batsman failed to contributed double-digit runs. Avinash Bohara who is playing his second T20I match picked up three wickets for Nepal, Karan KC Sandeep and Sompal grabbed two wickets each.
Chasing the score of 108 runs, Nepal lost their both openers in just nine runs. Parash Khadka failed to open his account, and PS Airee scored eight runs. Again Nepal lost the wicket of Gyanendra Malla in 6.1 over, contributed seven runs before he was LBW trapped by Sultan Ahmed. After that Karan KC scored 20 runs with the help of two fours and a six. He was bowled by Imran Haider. At that time Nepal was at the critical condition of 39/4 in 7.6 over. Then in 10th over Nepal lost the wicket of Sandeep Jora, he was only able to open his account. Now Nepal was in 46/5 and after that Pawan Sarraf came to support DS Airee. Both of these players played a brilliant inning and helped Nepal to reach the target. Pawan Sarraf was caught in the first ball of the final over; he scored 18 runs from 25 balls. DS Airee scored 47 runs off 41 balls; he remained Not out. Once win seems almost impossible for Nepal, but a brilliant inning from DS Airee and Pawan Sarraf helped to level the series.
I am happy with another comeback from team Nepal. I hope Nepal will play well tomorrow and win the T20 Series too. What do you think, can Nepal win the T20 Series too?
