Jonty Rhodes probably the best fielder ever is set to visit Nepal for two weeks. He will arrive in Nepal on the 22nd October and will spend two weeks. He will coach the players in Nepal Cricket School. Nepal Cricket School is the indoor cricket academy in Ratopool Kathmandu. According to Nepal Cricket School, he will teach players in Tribhuvan University’s Ground.

Who is Jonty Rhodes? Why he is called “Superman of Cricket”?

Jonty Rhodes is a South African cricketer who is famous for his fielding abilities. He played for South African Cricket team between 1992 and 2003, during this time he has played 245 ODI matches and 52 test matches. Rhodes has taken 34 test catches, 105 ODI catches, 127 FC Catches, and 158 catches in List A cricket. He was probably the best fielder ever, he was once awarded Man of The Match even he was not in Playing XI.

  In 1992 World Cup, Rhodes was successful in running out Inzamam-ul-Haq. 

The ball had rolled out towards Rhodes who ran in from backward point, gathered the ball and raced the retreating Inzamam to the wicket. Rhodes, with the ball in hand, dived full length to break the stumps and effect the runout.

 It’s considered as the one of the best moment in World Cup Cricket. In 1993 Rhodes successfully taken five catches in an inning against West Indies. In 2003 against Kenya, he broke his hand while fielding. After that, he retired from ODI.
