One of the most loved North American Counter Strike Global Offensive player has retired on April 19, 2018.

Mike "Shroud" Grzesiek released a statement on the 19th formalizing his retirement from the CS:GO competitive scene and also, ending his ties with the Cloud 9 organization.

Shroud started his pro career way back in 2014 with Cloud 9 where he was argued as the man with the best aim on NA on the peek of his career and was titled as the "King of Reddit" on the /r/GlobalOffensive subreddit, because of every small highlight he got had a chance of making the front page.

Recently, Shroud has continued streaming battle royal type games in the likes of Fortnite, PUBG and Rainbow Six Seige but not with Cloud 9. He has since grown his fanbase receiving new subs every stream and getting donations left and right, this comes to no surprise as shroud is not only a skilled streamer but an entertaining streamer to watch.

Also, He has recently also released his own clothing line in collaboration with J!NX.

The future looks bright for Shroud regardless of not being in the CS:GO pro scene with his massive fan base.
