Yesterday's leader of Azores Rally Russian Alexey Lukyanuk retired today after a big crash on the final special stage of the rally when he went off on the tarmac part of the stage.

It is nothing new from Lukyanuk who also had big chances on the top of the sport when he got a Ford Fiesta WRC from M-Sport for Rally Finland but he crashed the car on testing to the level that car was total shunt.

At least he showed that Citroen C3 R5 is a weapon available to fight against the opposition on gravel.

It's still not certain if Sainteloc Racing will have to change the chassis because the car is badly damaged or it can be repaired for the next rally of European Rally Championship.

Music over.
