As day 2 is going to finish, ranking of the teams are clear for day 3 of world cup matches.
It is very hard to forecast which teams are going to second round. But just to have a strategy to choose players for WC2018 free roll MD3, I take a look at groups and decide which team has a chance to go up and which player maybe more effective in that game.
In advance, I have to say that my team maybe lead to be the last team in SFS. But any how let’s try our chance.
In group A Russia and Uruguay ascend to second round and Egypt and Saudi Arabia has no chance. I take a look at Russian team and choose "D. Cheryshev" to play in my fantasy team. Because he is midfielder and scored 3 goals. Maybe a very good chance. From Uruguay I like to choose "L. Suárez" but I have to delete him because he is expansive player. "Mohamed Salah" has a good chance against Saudi Arabia to score a goal.
In group B the Story is complicated. 3 teams have chance for second round and each of them could be in the first place in the group. Iran should win the game against Portugal if wants to go to second round. So "K. Ansarifard" who is an attacker of Iranian team has a chance to score a goal. Meanwhile he is a cheap player and good to balance the budget. I also use "R. Rezaeian" in defense line to balance my budget. I make a risk and delete "Ronaldo" from the team.
In group C, Australia Should wins the game against Peru, if they want to have a chance to go to second round. So I choose "M. Jedinak" from this team, because he is midfielder and scored goal and also cheap player. From Denmark as it is recommended in comment section of part 2, I choose "C. Eriksen". He is a midfielder and scored a goal and assisted in one.
Group D, has its own tragedy story. Argentina must win his game against Nigeria to go up to the next round. We all know "L. Messi" is not a star used to be. But anyhow he is "Messi". Argentina needs his art if they want not to go home early. "L. Modrić" from Croatia is a good choice according to his 2 goals in previous matches. I also choose this team goalkeeper "D. Subašić" for my SFS team too.
Group E is another complicated Group. In my opinion Switzerland has a better chance and I choose "X. Shaqiri", who has a goal score and an assistant in previous games.
From group F, I think Germany has an easy game against Korea and "M. Neuer" may have a clean sheet in the game. I also choose "D Mertens" from Belgium in my attacker line to balance the budget. Also "A. Granqvist" is chosen from Sweden team that he had a good performance.
So from Group G, Belgium and England will go to second round easy. I choose "D. Mertens" from Belgium because of his goal and assist in previous game. Because I am run out of budget I decide to choose "D. Bronn" from Tunisia. He is defender with a history of a goal.
Making a team of 15 players especially when your budget is limited is so difficult.
As I told you I am newbie in fantasy sport and I am sure that there are some more professional SFS players who can set a better team.
Actually this team is selected only to fallow up the guide and see what happen during the tournament.
To be successful in fantasy sport you really should be a real fan of soccer, know all players, see their technic and abilities and watch their earlier performance and you should be able to analyse a player and team and the tournament all at the same time.
Another good place to gather information is static center. Do not forget about it.
